Hi all, can we claim back the tax paid on dividends received for shares, as my wife is a non tax payer and shares are hers, thanks.

AFAIK Gordon Brown stopped that when Labour got in. Don't you remember all the 'Gordon steals from children' type headlines as children could no longer have their tax back on their B&B div shares (which they got as they saved with B&B) and the 'Gordon steals from pensions'?
If you ask on the tax board, they might know what is happening now. This is the welfare board.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
