Hi LJ - and Moozie (if she's watching)

Please put me down for £40.00 this week, as still away working and have to pay for the little things I've been taking for granted - such as coffees, lunchtime snacks (which I used to make at home).
At the moment my B&B is paid for, along with evening meals, but one evening a week the people I'm working with like to go for a couple of drinks. All very MSE - usually Wetherspoons, followed by a carvery or pizza.
I'll try to do better with my spending diary this week, as well.

  • Hi all

My budget for last week was £95 and I spent £69.77

This week's budget is £190 broken down as follows:
£25 food (Did the shop today and spent £33.99, so the £8.99 overspend comes out of last week's underspend, and £25 out of this week's budget)
    £25 petrol
    £10 unecessary spend
    £20 Xmas savings
£100 MOT (I need 2 new tyres plus the test fee, have allowed £100 but if any more I have some money stashed away that should *fingers crossed* cover it)

    TOTAL BUDGET CHALLENGE: £180

Have a good week all x

    Evening lynsayjane :hello:

Last week my budget was £30 and I managed to only spend £5.70, so this week I need to be a bit more realistic :p I need to put petrol in my car and know of a few other things, so I will say £40

    Hi all,

I kept within the £50 budgeted spend.

Total £27.96 (includes £20 mobile top up) + some things under £5 (but can't find receipt).

I think I will lower this to £45 this week.

So far have spent £2.99 today.

Evening all ...seeing as it's not for shopping or anything I will try for £5 this week...I was going to say I was going to have all NSDs but am going for a coffee with a friend that I met in hospital.

Hi All - have had to pay out for physio on my back, so I think I'm dropping out of this challenge until I'm back on my feet as it were! Certainly more than the £10 I'd allowed for the week. Sorry!

I spent about £6 something, my sig will probably tell me so I'll edit once I've posted :rotfl:

    Edit: £6.14

Erm, not setting one this week as I've already spent £30 and feel guilty for it now :o
