I cannoy pay for an item, help required please

I attempted to pay for an item via PAYPAL and I had a message stating that payment was not successful. I checked MyEbay and this is confirmed by a message stating it is processing. I have more than enough funds in PAYPAL account so should not be an Echeque. When I click on "view Paypal transaction" to see what is happening it states "invlaid transaction ID". I am very confused and do not know what to do. I was thinking of cancelling initiated payment and sending a cheque via the post but cannot even find the Paypal transaction. Any ideas what is happening please? Thank you

Make sure to contact your seller, they may be able to help you. I as a seller would get you to cancel the first payment and send you a paypal invoice instead. You want to get the seller to check first though as they may well have your payment.

that basically means that the seller has got their email address wrong when they have listed their item.

As above you will need to contact the seller, they can send you a paypal invoice which you can pay and cancel the existing "payment"
if i had known then what i know now
