I also dont wish to purchase anything in particular its just cost of living, bills and mortgage etc that I will be struggling to pay so just looking at what options I have.

What you actually want the money for is to pay for a holiday to Las Vegas, because if you weren't planning on that you'd have £1k to pay for day-to-day expenses until work picks up.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

It would still be better to use your ISA now. And then look into using a new credit card just before your holiday for any funds you need in excess of what you have saved by then. That will then give you even longer to pay off the holiday spending money, as you'll have the promotional rate only starting from June.

You also won't incur any balance transfer fees by that method, in addition to saving overdraft interest between now and June.

E.g. for you holiday in June you could look to apply for an M&S card and buy travellers cheques from M&S. These count as a purchase not a cash withdrawal, so you get 15 months to pay off those travellers cheques (not that I would advise taking a holiday if its going to take over a year afterwards to pay it.)
