Hi everyone
Looking at getting a new laptop, well she who must be obeyed is buying it for me. Only looking to spend about 350 - 400 quid. Use it mainly for University work, some other office type stuff, storing pictures and surfing the net. Have been looking at Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 622! What do you guys think. Toshiba are giving £50 quid back with this and a guarantee that if it is repaired or replaced during the warranty then they give you your money back and return the repaired machine.

Seems reasonable for the price, and should be able to do all that you say you want to do with it0

Only concern with Toshiba's is the Power connector!
Be very careful plugging the power lead in...Design fault means that the connection is easily snapped off from the motherboard!
(I am a Fixer of Laptops...so just thought I would mention it!)0
