I have just been asked the following question:
'65 in July 2012 and been asked from employers what are my plans'
What happens to the holiday entitlement for the year (April to April)
Does he get a full years entitlement?
Thanks

Agree, you will get April, May, June and July up to the date of leaving.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I presume you meant 2013 and secondly the employer shouldn't really be asking this anymore as there is no retirement age in employment.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0

There are probably still good reasons to ask what the plans are it is not insisting you retire.0

He does know that the employer can no longer insist that he leave when he reaches 65yrs, right?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
