windows mail problem

right i recently got a new comp and set up my email and had it working ok...for some reason i now dont recieve mail from one account

how it should /did work ..i have 2 email addys say steve1@email.com and steve.2@email.com

steve.1 was the default mail and steve.2 was set up to be syncronised but request a password when checking the .2 mail, like i say it all worked like i wanted it to at first

what happens now is that my steve.1 mail comes through and it appears to check steve.2 without a password request but i never recieve my steve.2 mail.

any ideas? ive checked the settings and nothing obvious jumps out....im thinking its related to the fact i no longer get the password box poping up?

And which email program are you using? Outlook, Outlook Express, or do you access your email via a web browser, e.g. Hotmail
