Instagram Notifications Query

New user of instagram here.

I have gone edit your profile, manage settings - push notifications, and set the settings there to off there for like, comment & contact notifications.

But I still keep getting other notifcations from instagram - links to its photos.

I want to stop these. How do I do that ? I can't see what other settings to change ...

on what device?
if it's an iphone I believe there are more settings in "settings icon", but if you say what device it is, others could help.

Me again. Thought I'd post the answer which I finally figured out in case anyone else ever gets the same query.

It wasn't a phone setting in the end, it was a setting in the twitter app on the phone. I had to put @instagram in the search field in the twitter app, then click on the instagram camera icon to go them, then press the phone menu button on the phone bottom left, that brought up a list of 4 choices, one of which was notifications on. Doh.

I changed it to off, and hey presto nothing from them since
