Advice on my Debts and my DMP

FYI - he called around 15 times in the space of 6 mins.0

I'm sure somebody will come along who can answer for sure, but I think the best thing to do would be to ignore the calls. Don't even try to speak to them - you've asked them to contact you in writing so only speak to them in writing.
Good luck!0 -
Absolutely, It's just really concerning when they are saying things like that to be honest!!!0

Please understand that scum bag collectors are bullies, liars and cheats.
That's about it really.
It is their job to scare you into paying them directly cos the scum bag collector gets paid commission.
So, next time it rings, tell it that you are in A DMP with Step Change, tell them your reference number and bid them good day. Next time it rings, ignore it, you have stated your position.
You will get nasty letters, but these will die out.

Thank you, it's not the letters i'm worried about, it's phone calls like this that have caught me out - them saying that they have rejected the plan etc...0

Hi, I have just registered with this site after reading your post. I started my dmp with step change last June. I was exactly the same receiving phone calls all the time. In the end I ignored the constant phone calls and they stopped. If you want to answer these calls just keep your plan number and step change phone number by the phone give the caller those details and terminate the call. All my lenders have accepted the Dmp and I feel like a massive weight has been lifted and I'm actually managing to live on a budget!
Good luck0 -

Some creditors do, do initially, then come on board.
Think about it logically. If they decided to take you to court and you had not only tried to agree a plan, they accepted the payments as well, well they are going to look pretty stupid.
Let them play their little games, let stepchange send your payments, you learn to live on a budget.
You will be fine.

Received this lovely email from NDR - Regardless of me telling them that I am part of a DMP...
Dear Mr
Re loan ref:
Please remember that you agreed / are required to make payments to settle your NDR - Community Pay Day*** to avoid further charges and debt recovery action.
You are committed to paying GBP 655 by 28.01.2013.

If payment continues to be non-forthcoming, then the file will be passed to our Solicitors for review. This may lead to a County Court claim (or Sheriff Court claim if you are in Scotland) against you. If we successfully obtain a County Court Judgment (or Scottish Dec ree) we may then make further applications to the court for a Warrant of Execution or an Attachment of Earnings Order (or their Scottish equivalent).
It is essential that you honour your commitment to repay this loan.
You should pay GBP 655 by:

We have not received an offer we consider reasonable from your debt management company/advisor. As per the OFT guidelines on Debt Management we are now entitled to, and will, pursue you directly for payment of your outstanding debt.
You need to contact us within 24 hours to come to an arrangement directly with us or we will pass your file onto Bailiffs to pursue.
We will seek a Court Judgment against you followed by a Warrant of Execution to seize goods and/or obtain an attachment of earnings.
We will shortly be registering a "default" on your national credit file which is shared between lenders. This will hinder obtaining any future credit.
We recommend you call us within 24 hours so we can come to an arrangement based on your circumstances.
WARNING : If you do not contact us this WILL be pursued by Bailiffs.
Yours sincerely,
