Natwest select account

My partner and I have just opened this account and received our debit cards today they are blue. We've requested no overdraft but have asked for chequebooks. I was told that they are doing away with the blue cards and now only issue the purple so I rang them and the lady said they do both and there is no difference we can use our card anywhere. I'm confused! In the info leaflet that came with the card it says we can use the card anywhere and can withdraw cash free if charge from any natwest or robs ATM. What if I go to tesco and use their ATM will I be able to withdraw money? The lady said ours was a fully fledged account so we will see.
Also can we use the card abroad to withdraw money?
Thanks for any information you can give me.

You can use the card anywhere including abroad apart from on some toll roads, trains and planes.0

Blue natwest debit cards are giving out to high risk customers which mean the blue card is an online card.
And garage pumps you may struggle to.0 -

Close your bank and improve your credit rating and apply again.
Or leave the bank that doesn't trust you and take your buisness elsewhere.0 -
