Hi, I've used MSE Forums for a while, but this morning I thought I'd sign up and post a deal I found. I posted a deal I found this morning on the Grabbit! forum as it's a sale with things for 30p and I picked up some good stuff for the kids, but it was removed. I then posted it again a bit later (as I thought I must have done something wrong) and it's been deleted again. I've read the forum rules and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - any ideas? Thank you!

"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Ah right, thank you!0

yeah one of my posts has seemed to of disapeared also, must be a forum issue as myn was there for hours then gone with no reply. Cant of been inthe wrong place as it was posted here....hmmmDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Hello All,
I also posted a tip today, a promo that saved me £60. I joined the site just to post it, in the hope that it would help someone else.
I think I'm a fairly intelligent person, I doubt that I posted in the wrong place, duplicated a thread or broke any rules.
My post was deleted, no message was sent to me to explain why. If I had broken any rules no feedback was given. Having completely wasted my time to try to help other people in a similar situation to myself I feel extremely disappointed.
Having read the forums for several years my motivation for joining today was to help others. This was despite some misgivings because of some of the disparaging posts that I have often read on here; ones that do not get deleted.
I rarely post anything anywhere online. If I do then I KNOW it is something that will help someone else. I doubt that I will bother trying to post on these forums again.
I'm sorry for such a negative post but I can barely express how I feel right now. The £60 I saved today is extremely important to our family and I wanted other people to benefit in the same way.
I haven't gone into more detail because I have a feeling I know why my post was deleted. I think it was due to someone being judgemental about a company that I have a loan with. I am guessing this from other holier-than-thou posts I've seen around here.0 -
Should my original post reappear then I'll swallow my words *smile*0

Could be several people. I get the impression that a certain number of SPAM button pressers can get a post, or even an entire thread deleted. I have no idea what the thresholds are though.
I've had a single post deleted, but it was rather pointy/aggressive one and I'll freely admit that, but meh.0 -
You may well be right about the spam button and it being several people.
If it is the spam button then it would be a very simple matter to give members automatic feedback telling them so.
There you go. Thanks for helping me feel that somebody is listening0
