sad pear tree

I have just recently planted a small weeping pear tree, but it looks really sad!
The leaves are being nibbled by something, but I dont know what.
Any ideas how to treat?

Thanks

can you see anything on the leaves ????
Look at the growing tips unfold one gently are there any bugs in there ????
I would spray it with a systemic insecticide that should sort most 'nibbly' pests out !!!!

I have flicked off some beetles, they were quite well dug in around where the flowers are, so I had to look hard to see them.
Do you think the tree looks sad due to the thing thats eating it or maybe not enough water/too much water?

Will try what you suggested though.

    Thanks again
