SorryThat I started a new thread as I posted this elsewhere..

WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Yes, I know, I should have done the work myself and avoided claim company etc...

Ok, here goes..
Back in December I agreed to enter into contract with Key Finacial Claims (KFC) as the guy came round and I signed all the forms etc. No upfront free.

Yesterday I get a call from my bank (Lloyds) about the PPI claim as is being inverstigated. They asked me questions that they should already know the answer to (I twigged later after the call)
Questions like which branch was the loan taken out from, what was the amout, what date was it etc.
He then asked about my employement at around the time of taking the loan out and if I was entitled to sick pay etc..
I answered don't remeber too all the questions and I paniced (honestly, coulnt remeber at the time..)
There was some meantion that I have some other form financial protection?? Really? That information could only have come from KFC (which is untrue...)
What should I do? Is this going to harm my claim. If I cancel with KFC will it harm my future chance for the same claim if I go and do it alone?
The bank said they would ring bank on monday as I agreed I could get some details of what my sick benifits were at my previose employement (I'm still employed but with a different company)
What should I do??

  • I suggest you ask Lloyds TSB, for a copy of what they received from the ambulance chaser.

If it does not coincide with what you told them you have the basis of a complaint that the amublance chaser has acted fraudulently.

    Ok, thanks, will do.
What do I do in the meantime with regards to the claim?
Do I carry on answering the questions ask of me by Lloyds?

You are paying Kentucky Fried Chicken to advance your PPI claim?:D

Seriously, you should cancel the contract if possible-but be prepared for a bill from them for the "work" they've done on your behalf so far.

    Justa quick question.
If its a no win no fee (i.e. Bill) then why does canceling incure a fee???

That's only applies if the complaint goes to completion.
  • I don't mind continuing on with them as I started but have things been messed up? Is there any change to recover?
What do I tell lloyds on monday?

How have they been "messed up"? The Bank are investigating your complaint (or KFC's version of it) and will either uphold or reject it.
