Can't go into too much details, but are there any other organisations APART from the RSPCA that help to rescue abused and mistreated animals, specifically dogs?
RSPCA have been involved several times and still haven't removed these poor dogs, have tried the police, environmental health, the local council, is there anyone else ?

Not with legal rights to remove the dog. Have you tried the dog warden?
The only other thing you could do is try to lobby a few rescues together and for all to keep contacting the authorities.0 -
Maybe it's a borderline case. They will give the owners a chance to improve if the dogs are not in danger of death. They may be abused and mistreated in a way but just sufficiently treated enough to not be cruelty.universalady wrote: »Can't go into too much details, but are there any other organisations APART from the RSPCA that help to rescue abused and mistreated animals, specifically dogs?

As long as they have shelter, food, water and veterinary care when required then that's all they really need to meet the minimum requirements.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Unfortunately the dog warden can't do anything. As I thought without some kind of legal right we have no way of rescuing these poor dogsJust bumbling along, trying to save some moneyCouldn't do it without coming here every day

There are a few more "active" rescues but how much they can help .............Animal Aid and Hillside Animal Sanctuary are a couple who may be able to advise.0

How about the local paper? You'd be surprised how things swing into action when that is a possibility.
Other people have put evidence on YouTube if they've filmed it, though.
I couldn't recommend a particular approach, but....I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll
