  • Hi everyone

Sorry for my late post - I am determined to post though, even if it means staying a bit late at work!

    Things for today:-

    Check bank
    Email friend
    Meal plan
    All meals from stores
Sort washing into 2 loads ready for tomorrow
Start planning jobs for the weekend to avoid going out spending!

lulabelle - I feel your pain!

    Stay nice and warm all.

    Hey guys,

My apologies for the weird post last night. I'm not feeling too good and a bit of a to-do at work just killed me off. :o

Thank you to everyone for sending me hugs/pms/thoughts though. It was much appreciated.

Today was better though. Thing at work deemed not my fault (phew). Also my mum finally agreed to go to the doctors (who told her off for not going sooner) so that was another weight off my mind.

    Thanks again guys

EDIT: I just saw that I've earned my second star! Woooooo

Good to hear you sounding brighter today carrie

Stopped off at aldi on the way home. You'd think it was wartime. No bread or buns left whatsoever and hardly any fresh meat or fruit or veg. All because a few inches of snow is forecast. Madness!

    Hi all!

Lullabelle I really feel for you! My OH who I have been with "officially" for a year now ("unofficially" for two and a bit ) but he was very much like that. Boys are a nightmare!
carrie hope you're feeling better today, I hate it when work stresses out your home life! I had a dream about work last night and went in expecting a b0ll0cking!!!!

    Anyways, this is/was me today:

    - Checked banking - still no maintenence!
    - BLD from stores
    - Left purse at home
    - Borrowed £50 from DB incase money doesn't clear tomorrow - ex says i'll definitely have it by sunday, but I have a wedding to go to tomorrow night and shopping to do!
    - Watching TV with DD prepping her for having her teeth out tomorrow by feeding her lots!!! (General anaesthetic)
    - Snuggled under duvet again
    - Surveys

Well everything hangs on ex paying his maintenence at the moment, when he said he would pay it when he was back from holiday I'm not sure why I expected it within a couple of days of his return. It's now day 6 and still nothing, I should expect this seeing as he was the one that ran up the debts then took no responsibility when we split up. He did it to his ex wife and no doubt he's doing it to his new girlfriend as well.

    Ho hum

    Jo x
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!

Silly boy still not been in touch so trying hardest not to text but given it's my only hope of a bloke at the moment it's pretty hard - then again, do I want someone who seems not that bothered?!

You're doing better than me ...... so much for there being plenty of fish in the sea .... looks like there's none where I am

And nope ... you deserve someone better than someone who seems not that bothered!

Sorry I'm so late again :o today I have:

    • Thermals on ... heating off (and many extra layers as it's freezing!)
    • B / L / D from stores - still on track with this weeks' meal plan:T
    • Checked online banking & shuffled money
    • Sorted cats & tidied up
    • Washing x 1 & hung up
    • Walked dog x 2
    • Gritted driveway * so I've some hope of getting out tomorrow (blood test AM)
    • Cancelled massage tomorrow PM :( (not mse reasons - it's supposed to snow badly & don't want to have to go out if I don't need to)
    • Had NSD!
    * how come there are 3 other houses share my driveway (we're a little horse-shoe kind of thing off the main road) - all of which have men in the household ..... and it's me (who's off sick....) that ends up having to do it?
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

yep, I sent him a text about 230 and no response! I just don't get it - he's the one who's been acting all keen. I do wonder if he has someone else on the go - men can be rats!!!!

    grrrrr!

oh well, better move onwards and upwards - going on holiday with great friends in a few weeks and that should be so much fun! His loss - no wonder he's still alone past age 40!

I've also had a NSD - soup for lunch, pasta/cheese and biscuits for dinner and then some chocolate - managed to get 2 x boxes of xmas belgian chocs for 75p each in waitrose (where I live we don't have any other supermarkets - I live on a rock!)

I had thought I'd be able to save a couple of hundred quid this month as I wasn't going out or really spending but a flat I have and rent out apparently has some problems and its going to cost me £150 to sort :(
