Hotmail search not working

As the title says when I try to search using the
bing search email box
It returns answer:
We didn't find any results for "xxx@xxxxx.co.uk". Do you want to start from scratch with an advanced search
I have tried the help section - and tried all their work arounds - I believe it may be to do with the 6000 emails I have in all folders and or indexing problems
Does anyone have any suggestions?

have you tried logging out and back in also clear out your browser cache see if thats help. i have over 10k emails, though its in gmail not had this problem.My Signature is MY OWN!!0

I have done everything the Help Section suggested and it has made no difference0 -
