It may be as simple as the plug which connects to the speakers having come apart from the socket. You need to pull the radio out to check them.0

You may find the audio has blown in the junction box, if you have your phone on full volume this can cause this, its best to drop the volume slightly, how long have you had it, if under a year go back to where you've had it from, it should be under warrenty, if older you will have to pay for a new jun box or kit.0

Did it used to work OK and now doesn't? in which case
Parrots have a special lead with relays moulded in that switch the speakers from going to the radio to going to the parrots audio during a call.
If the radio keeps playing then its not doing it, either the lead has failed or, there is one lead from the parrot box that is the 'control signal' to the relays in the cable. The connection may come out or the lead got damaged (frayed through or something).
Finally option is it could be the parrot box's relay signal has died but thats the least likely, its not unknown for the relay leads to die.
Nothing to do with volume level passing through. You need to check the wiring.0 -
