Logbook - will this be a problem?
Bought a new car in november and still haven't recieved the log book, I have given time for the xmas/new year holiday and it looks like the post office have lost it!
I have the new keeper slip, but as the garage I bought the car from agreed to tax it for me as part of the deal they have filled it out - I am assuming if I put a copy of the receipt and a note in explaining this the DVLA will release a logbook to me??

you'll need to fill in a V62 form. There's a £25 fee for a lost one but free if you've never received it https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration-certificate-v5c-log-book0

As above. Contact the DVLA first to see if they actually sent it out. You shouldn't have to pay for it.0
