How much does it really cost to boil an egg
An egg you could get for say 20p.
But you need a bit of water cost; pennies?
But the question is to boil the egg for ten minutes what would be the average cost of gas for that period?

Using the 1.7kW burner divide by 60 then multiply by 10 then multiply by your secondary unit rate on your gas bill assuming 4 pence woud be about 1 penny.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
