Winter Car boot sales

Hi,
I've been debating whether it's worth heading to a car boot sale in the next couple of weeks. I usually work Sundays so i never get the chance and i'm itching to get a bargain or two however some people have suggested that it's a daft idea as the cold means there won't be anything except market type stalls. Does anyone have any opinions?
The snow on the way is making me lean towards not bothering but i have the next sunday free too and hopefully it'll be gone by then even if it is still cold. My nearest boot sales are half an hour away so it's a way to go and find nothing useful. So I thought i'd ask you guys before i decide.
Thanks in advance

Take a chance and go ... You might find an absolute bargain, which turns out to be a valuable item when you ebay it.0
