Sounds like you'd have done well at the 'Ministry of Food' during WWII :T.

There's plenty of posters on here who wouldn't have d-r-e-a-m-e-d of using that concoction - and they'll now be very grateful indeed for you sharing it with us.

'Back in the day' - in my case 75-89 with a lazy, good-for-nothing, idle OH not interested in providing money - I used similar style yummy-tasting recipes to fill us all up.
