moving abroad and need to reclaim!!

i am moving abroad soon and need to reclaim my charges...i have gone through steps one and two so next stage is th court process...however should i wait until july when i arrive with a permanent address out there or should i go for it now with only 7 weeks till leaving??

Could you not ask a family member if you could use their address on the MCOL form? That way you could get started without fear that when you move, the post will go to your old address??

I may be in a similar position to Andy.
A job abroad may start early June and looking at eight weeks for court case means it'll be in July. I read somewhere that if I am the claimant i would need to be at court in person. This could be a problem. Any advice?

Eek, not really im afraid, except come back for the court date. Especially if the amount your claiming is worth it. Other than that, i dont know. I've only heard of a couple of people who have actually gone to court, but they did have to actually go, although the banks didn't bother sending a representative so they won by default anyway.
