I'm having trouble with one of my listings.

I'm getting this message:

It appears that your listing may violate eBay’s policies that regulate how an item can be promoted.


Sellers may not offer items for sale outside of the eBay auction format. Such practice circumvents the eBay fee structure. Common examples of violations of this policy include:

• Email me to purchase this item directly.”
• “This ring can be sized for an additional fee.”
• “Email me with your want lists.”

I think the issue is that the item goes via ParcelForce. I have a note in the listing that the P&P quoted is for Zone 1 addresses only, and that there may be a supplement for UK addresses outside of zone 1.

Anyone got any suggestions for a better way to structure the listing? Other than putting the P&P up for all customers

I've put the exact cost for each zone in the listing, but it still doesn't show up in searches (having been listed lunchtime) :-/

I did think it might be another glitch , but it does seem to be a real message. I had a definite glitch today, I got a message telling me I couldn't list my item as eBay protect their members by limiting the amount new sellers can list. This was in my TRS account and 5 minutes later I was able to list with no daft messages popping up.

Well, I listed something else and then this one became visible too. Problem solved hopefully. :-/
