Comps for 2 people

Hi,
When a comp is for a holiday, flight or hotel stay for 2 people, can you claim the prize if there's only one of you? Obviously I would ask to see if any friends/relatives etc. would want to come, but if I couldn't find anyone (e.g. they didn't want to, couldn't get the time off work etc.) then could I go alone? I'm not talking about 'family holidays' (e.g. 2 adults, 2 kids) or honeymoons, but comps like New York or Las Vegas.
Purely a hypothetical question at the moment!
Thanks.

I'm sure the company wouldn't mind as it would end up cheaper for them!£385/£2014
15/52 Prizes

I've just assumed that I would be able to go on my own to be honest. I hadn't thought that I wouldn't be allowed to go.
I had thought that if I found someone to go with that I/they might just be able to book an extra room.
Perhaps we should start a group of singlies so that we could choose someone to go with0 -
I won 6 assorted hols/breaks last year and went solo on all of them with no issues. I had every flight upgraded to business from standard because I only wanted one ticket - although I had to play the "passenger of size" card to tell the agency I wanted both seats for me before one of them would upgrade
Also on the two where food and drink was included they doubled up the per diem so they were very merry hols
