can you claim JSA using a care of address?

Basically, my hubby and i have separated, he is staying with the kids as i currently work fulltime, i am sofa surfing till i find a place i can have the kids to stay.
Unfortunately, i have been told the shop i work in will close next tues, i have started applying for jobs but am thinking ahead in case i need to sign on.. my question is, can i sign on using my hubbys address as a care off address? he has said its fine, as i go there to see the kids, but i dont want it to affect his income support

    Be prepared to have a visit from compliance but technically yes. What address are you currently using for bills, bank, doctors etc....

    i am still using the address i used to share with hubby - i am on the housing list, and bidding weekly

    Yes. You might find you get some fraud (living together) checks but no worries if that is your situation.
