Remarriage trap

Hi, i was divorced in the late 90's. My ex and I did the divorce ourselves and there was no court financial settlement, basically I gave her the lot, house and car. I left with nothing. She has since remarried and divorced again. Does that put her in the"remarriage Trap" ? ie she can never bother me in the future for money?

I THINK new marriage ends all links with old marriage unless you have children - though by sounds if it these would be over the age of CMS anyway?0

Bother you in the future for money? Had she not remarried, then your NI contributions would contribute to her state pension, but other than this, if you are divorced and it was all agreed, there was to be no further financial settlement other than what you gave her, then whether she is married or not, should not affect you. If you have cleared your end, as in amended your will, taken her off as beneficiary on anything, then you should be fine. What claim could she possibly have, given it was all done and dusted in the 90s?0

Why would she want to bother you if she has remarried? She's obviously put your life together behind her & moved on.0
