New boiler quote :)

My prima F50 is slowly giving up the ghost...so decided to its time to get rid.

Wondering if this quote sounded ok

"Please find the quote for the boiler replacement below.

To supply and install the Worcester Bosch 15 Ri High Energy Efficient condensing boiler
To supply and install Worcester Bosch Flue exhaust kit.
PowerFlush all the radiators.
Add chemical boiler protector.
Copper pipe and fittings.
Supply and run electrical connections all tested.
Wire pump overrun directly from boiler to system pump.
Gas Safe registration certificate.
6 years Worcester Bosch guarantee.

The total price including labour and Vat.
£1300.00."

That inc 4 trv valves in the bed rooms. He said will take 2 days to install.

£1300, that sounds too cheap for all that work and surely can't be right??

Way too cheap, but if you know him and trust him go for it.

Around £1600 + VAT would nearer the norm for a straight swap, as what yours is.

Well i had it fitted, £1350 in the end as i decided to have a Fernox TF1 put in as well.

All went fine. I suppose i will only know for sure in the coming weeks/months.

Where are you based?

I'd love to get our old boiler replaced if it's only going to cost that much, we've been getting quotes around £2500 to literally take the old one out and put a new one in.

This time last year i paid £1850 for a Ariston boiler with a 5yr guarantee.

That is similar to what I've been quoted for a similar swap (F50 to 18Ri). Mine is being fitted next week. The installer is off the Worcester Bosch web site.
