hi,
i am using a DSLR to take some studio piccys and i would like to monitor each shot via my PC.Is this possible because it seems as soon as i link the two,i cannot shoot anymore frames till i disconnect the cable.

I don't think that you will be able to use the PC to monitor shots while shooting. All cameras that I have used are either in shoot or view mode, unless anyone else knows different.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
