Prepaid Credit Cards

Does anyone know where you can get one of these that you can add funds to?
the reason i ask is, we dont have a debit or credit card, this month the bank bounced the car insurance payment, and the insurance company would only accept payment via debit or credit card. I have had to buy a preloaded visa from clintons, it cost me £55 for a £50 card, and it isnt reloadable!
Any ideas?! thanks

I would be a much better idea to get a basic bank account as there will be no fees attached:

  • ive been using the Orange cash card for about a year now and its very good...

If you top-up in a Orange shop its free and the credit goes on straight away. Also you earn points which are redemabale against orange texts and calls.

Hasnt cost me a penny to use

  • I use Orange cash too. Only pay if you get out cash. Can load up by cash at any orange shop or whatever they call themselves these days :)

Also get points to use on Orange PAYG phone
