Hi im no longer with natwest for banking, however I am needing to provide proof of an ammount of money that transfered from my bank. What process will I need to follow to ask natwest to print off transactions made over 9years ago.

I have the exact date of the transactions but dont know how I go about obtaining this. I have account number + sort code.

Any one whos had similar circumstance of requesting old statement from severals years ago pleade help.

Not sure if I can just walk into natwest branch?? Thanks gem

  • Records are kept 'live' for the last 7 years, I don't know what happens to archived stuff. I wouldn't waste time going to a branch as they really don't know what they're doing, possibly call telephone banking and ask for a query to be logged to see if it can be found.
    I work for Natwest.

A little more information is required please.

Why do you need to prove a payment was made over 9 years ago? Who did you pay, or what was it for?

If you know the exact date of the transaction, you could request a copy statement from your bank for the appropriate period, but they may not be able to provide one from so long ago, especially if the account is now closed.
