If you went br nearly 5yrs ago you still have a year to go.

CO-OP do car insurance monthly wether you are discharged or not, so that is nothing, How big is your Vanquis limit?

If he went BR nearly five years ago and got ED after six months then he's been discharged for nearly four and a half years:).

I went "under the judge" in July 2010 and I've had no problem with car insurance on DD, mobile contracts the same and Vanquis have just put my credit limit up to £2500 (cleared monthly needless to say).

I don't know if it's changed a great deal tbh....other than people keeping far less of any SOA surplus.
Procrastination is my middle name....well it would be if I could be ar**d to contact Deed Poll."

its not nothing as in my case its over a grand and is financed by a credit company.....so there, the COOP probably self-finance without using a credit company

    my Vanquis limit is £2100

and I dont have "a year to go" in any true sense as its possible to get finance (if i wanted it) cos ive asked, the "6 year rule" is a guideline not a law i think you will find

I was discharged after 6 months

But he still has a year to go before BR drops off his credit file, that is what mattannar is referring to:)
