I'm sure there are as many wrong decisions in the claimant's favour as are against. However no one is going to appeal to a tribunal or ask to be reassessed if they know they have been lucky. Support group simply on the basis of filling in a form and providing no medical evidence is ridiculous.0 -

lucky u think im lucky u call lucky being in a wheelchair and not being able to do anything for myself for the past 14 yrs . last atos assesment was in 2007 and had 9 atos assessments for 14 yrs for incap benefit how many people year after year has had a face to face assessment with atos not many i bet. i wont go into details about my health because thats my business but when u have a 14 page medical report from the last atos assessment would be coming up for 6 years in march the dwp woman said she couldnt understand why i had to be reassessed with the disabilities i have got but as its changed from ib to esa everyone has to be put onto esa. and just to add to this i get hrm, hrc, and i didnt even tell esa i was on dla they must check on your file somewhere along the line to what benefits ur on and to see the medical evidence they have from past year or so0
