We are allowed to accept one coupon if you have not bought the item but 2 if you have bought one of it. We are allowed to accepted a percentage of the bill but this changes from week to week. Last time I asked a manager she was unsaure what the % was!
Hi and welcome! Thanks for your info. My store usually interprets the "1 coupon" as being 1 coupon full stop. There does seem to be some confusion as to whether it means 1 coupon per visit - or more than 1 coupon, but no duplicates
With the uncertainty in your shop about percentage too - does seem that Tesco isn't clear or consistent itself about the whole coupon issue. Mind you...with £2 bill. profit, I guess it's no skin off their nose one way or another :rolleyes:0 -
You can always just try a different Tesco store. In my area, one store won't accept laser-printed vouchers and claim they cannot discern these from photocopied vouchers. Another smaller Tesco store just a few miles away accepts them happily.0

I have a £5 voucher from Sharwoods. I enquired at the customer services desk at my local Tesco (Redcar) regarding coupons/vouchers. The assistant, sighed and said in her most patronising tone, we only accept a voucher/coupon if the item is purchased. So off I went to find £5 worth of Sharwoods sauces, took said items and voucher to the cash till, and middle aged lady rang for a supervisor. Queue behind me got longer, people muttered, supervisor inspected voucher, told me the voucher didnt match what I had purchased. I gave up and walked out of store without items. Not sure what to do now, write to Sharwoods perhaps.0
