Help with Redundancy and notice period

Hi,
This is my first post so please bear with me!
My boss told me today that I am "at rick of reduncancy". I have only been in my role for 18 months so techinically not entitled to anything by law (well no money and 1 weeks notice)!!! In an email my boss outlined everything that they would give me, which basically equates to my normal Pay to the end of this month and 11/12ths of my bonus (if the company hits it target; to be paid in March).
My 1 area of confusion, which I need help with, is that my notice period is 4 weeks in my contract. The company is not going bust (they're doing well!), I am the only one being let go, so should I not be getting a 4 week notice period, and paid for that time? As at the moment I am effectively getting 2 and half weeks?!
Can someone clarify if I should be asking for 4 weeks?! Or am I only entitled to 1 as that is the minimum required by law? I have a meeting with my boss on Friday and would like to bring it up then if I am entitled to more.
Thanks!

Contractual notice if more than statutory.
A polite reminder to start with.
It starts whebn they actualy give notice they will terminate
What was in the email anything to say your notice has started?0 -
Nothing mentioned in the email about Notice actually starting, just, "lets have a chat on Friday.... if there is nothing else for you to do in the business (role change) we may have to part company on friday..." and pay till the end of the month.
I will go back and ask when the notice officially starts and a reminder of the 4 weeks in my contract.
Thanks for your help.0 -
I would not ask when it starts as they may say allready or now.
Just remind that notice is 4 weeks if they want to terminate on Friday with PILON.
if ther eis nothing in the contract about PILON then you could be paid this gross no tax and NI taken off.0
