Storage for sets of small kids toys, net bags etc?

Our daughter was very lucky to receive lots of lovely gifts at Christmas, but I'm finding it a bit tricky to keep them all tidy and organised, and avoid small pieces belonging to sets becoming lots or separated. One friend mentioned that she was given some net zip up bags, roughly A4 paper size, that work well because you can see at a glance what is inside and they are less bulky than plastic tubs. Does anyone know where I can buy these net bags please, or have any other suggestions?

Many thanks.

Might not be exactly the same thing, but I've bought plastic zip up wallets/folders with a mesh lining from the stationery range in wilkinsons.

(Just been googling, and if you type in tiger tuff bag, that's the kind of thing I'm thinking of)

Wilkinson s also do mesh / net ones , I use these or the plastic ones to keep wooden puzzles etc together. I use drawstring toiletry bags for games or wooden sets.

They sound like the sort of bags for keeping delicates seperate in washing machines

For sets of really small toys - the drawstring net bags you get with soap powder tablets work well (I used to use them to store individual sets of things like unifix cubes in school)

those mesh zip up bags are a lidl special very soon, a set of three. There's square flat ones and some circular zip up ones, the circular ones are 3d shaped so like canisters which would be handy for toy storage.

Was going to post a link but their site is down ATM.

Just to add could have been aldi, l get mixed up!

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • Another idea is to cut down cereal boxes or buy magazine boxes and put sets with small pieces in those. No holes for the pieces to get stuck in, easy to pop odd bits in when tidying (you don't have to open the net bag), and they fit nicely onto a set of shelves. If you use cereal boxes, you can cover with fabric to co-ordinate with your room.
