Any Special offers for ferry crossings to the IOM??

Does anybody know of any special offers or the best ferry company to use.

There is only one ferry to the IOM - IOM Steam Package Company.
It all depends on when you want to go, It is very easy to check on prices on their web site. I do know a foot passenger return from Heyshem is usually £30 plus fuel surcharge £5, but if you want to go during TT weeks this doubles. I have never managed to find any discount codes for the Steam Package Company, I suppose being the only ferry they don't have to.

I live on the Isle of Man and even locals do not get a discount on the IOM Steam Racket Ferry. It is costing me in July for a return trip from the IOM £289 car including driver. If you take passengers they have to pay the foot fare price on top. Cost of the ferry to either Liverpool or Heysham is the same. In the off season you can get prices as low as £99 usually on the nught ferry. I reckon it cost me £1,000 a year to get on and off the IOM but then taxes are lower but cost of living higher. Great place to live though.

Ive lived in the Isle of man for a few years. What most people are not aware is that You can buy a train ticket from London or wherever to the isle of man.

Yes. I did mean a train ticket!!!

I got a few funny looks when I asked for one at London Euston but then they checked and allowed me to buy the ticket. It included the ferry fare as well.
The advantage is that you can use any Railcard that you have and get 2/3 rd offthe prices.
