Hey all.
Returned one HP laptop due to the horrific keyboard flex and loose surrounding panel.
Bought a new Dell from their website. Delivered no problem. But one of the keys isn't seated right (the one between the right CTRL key and the left arrow (think it's the application key (box with three lines in it)).
The key isn't loose as such, but its seated at a jaunty angle (1mm above the surrounding keys on the top edge and 1mm below them on the bottom and a bit to the side. Its quite easy to get under it at the top and it looks poo but it works ok (for now).
Is this something Dell will come out and fix under their next business day warranty? I don't want to tamper with it and break it but have given it a press to see if it'll click back in but it doesn't.

I would suggest you contact Dell. If it's brand new it should be.0

Cheers for the reply. Will give them a call. I mentioned it on their site forum and someone was looking into it but no response from that yet...... Calling is just easier I guess!!0
