Hopefully you lovely people here can help...
I have some .mpc music files on my PC and don't know how to play them
. I have googled the file and downloaded various decoders/coders but I can't seem to get any to work. Am I useless or what?

Do you mean MP3? I have not heard of MPC. It is possible it is in a format that is only recognised by a specific player you may have to buy, but that should have been told to you by the download siteNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

I use foobar2000 as audio player, and it reads MusePack files natively:
