Hello,
Does anyone know if you can transfer a balance in someone else's name to a halifax credit card?
Also, has anyone got a good deal as an existing customer?
Thanks

Yes, you can, generally speaking. Though obviously not from another Halifax card.
Halifax send out regular existing customer BT offers.0 -
I am an existing Halifax customer and am presently on my second or third extended "0% for purchases with no fee" offer.
This one started in December and lasts to February 2014. Which is very generous, I think.
BT offers are even more frequent.0 -
I've never been sent any offers through, although I did get a 0% bt deal by phoning up about a year ago.0

No fee? I wouldn't expect to pay a fee to buy a 0% on purchases offer! Indeed, I've never seen such an offer.Cornucopia wrote: »I am an existing Halifax customer and am presently on my second or third extended "0% for purchases with no fee" offer.
So as an existing customer they've given you 15 months 0% on purchases for a card you already held? This one started in December and lasts to February 2014.0 -
I BT'd balances from other cards I own in a different name (maiden name). Before I did this I asked the guy on the phone if the differing names would be a problem, and he said that they don't ask for/need the names, just the card numbers.
This wasn't a Halifax card, though.0
