I don't know the speech you refer to in your post but I am now curious.

As for celebs...I think a true star/celeb is one that doesn't self promote or force themselves onto us normals. They don't need to.

It made me very sad that a young girl a friend knows said she wanted to be a celeb when she grows up - what has Towie etc done to us?

I also loathe these 'celeb parent of the year' thingies too. Well done for bringing random men/women into your kids lives for 5minutes, shove them into the 'limelight' and flash you delicates to anyone who pays and leave a legacy for your kids...
