Orbicam and messenger wont work on my new laptop? Acer 9301

Hi I wondered if anyone knows whats going on with my new laptop Acer 9301.

The built in webcam worked fine at first but has stopped working i get a error message now and the same wth msn messanger.
I'm getting stressed out now and dont know what to do, I'm on windows vista premium.
