                    Hi
Has anyone stayed in El Paso hotel on an all inclusive basis
Any tips, or benefits over staying in salou itself (other than the park being included etc)
Really wanting to hear did you prefer port aventura or the town, is it worth the extra ££ by the time u pay for theme park passes etc

            Hi,
Myself and my wife & 2 kids have been here each of the last 2 summers. Highly recommend it, particlularly if you or your anyone in your group intend to make use of the park itself as you can come an go as you please each day.
The hotel itself is large with a stunning pool area which includes a seperate kids pool. night-time entertainment isn't up to much, very kids orientated. Fireworks display etc in port aventura each night however is a must see.
Hotel runs a free bus shuttle between the hotel itself & salou, think its between 10am-4pm! Taxi to/from salou is around 10 euros. Is walkable though but we didn't do it.
We are taking a break from a summer holiday in 2013 but intend to book in here again for 2014.0

            Thanks for that
I plan to go in August, we will make full use of the theme park and prob won't be looking for the in hotel entertainment at nite much,
Just 3 travellers, myself, hubby, and 15 year old daughter on what could be her last time coming with us
It will be our 4th time in salou, but it will be the first time we stayed in P.A, and the first time we go all inclusive
I will buy the express passes for PA (go for the E46 euro pass I think) and I will visit costa carib (tho the discount is now down to 30% off entry!)
We will prob get the bus down into salou at some stage, maybe just to go to the beach etc, I just wasn't sure if the bus went into the town, I thought it only went from the hotel to the theme park and back, so thanks for that
How would you rate the food and drink? Tia0

            Sorry,
Also how much spending money do you think would be needed, like I said, never been AI bfore so haven't a clue!
Allowing E200 for the express passes and costa carib entry,
How much do you think for a "comfortable" holiday,0

Should also add that the rooms themselves in this hotel are basic enough considering the surroundings! Spotlessly clean though so for us they were more than fine.
The courtesy bus from the hotel leaves you right off at the main promenade on the beach side, so very handy. From the hotel there is a little train that takes you up into the park & back if you wish to get it. The hotel itself is literally a 3-4 min walk from the park. Uphill though, so train is handy & obviously coming back down is up to you.
As for money, its hard to know. You could literally not spend a penny if you were staying in the hotel itself so really its only what you will spend in Salou itself.
Also the water park itself at PA is more small kids orientated, the other one in la pineda is much better as im sure you have visited before. It has got a tad expensive however for a day out in it0

Yep that would be Aquapolis, damned expensive, what ever you do, don't plan on eating in the restaurant at Aquaplois, 10 Euros for a burger and chips which was absolutely vile and when we went a lot of the slides weren't open, they didn't adjust the entry price accordingly though, I personally though Aquapolis was very over rated.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

Yes, we have been to Aquapolis each time we went to salou, I would not be bothered about going back this time, esp if I am staying A.I in the themepark, as you can eat in selected restaurants there, so between there, and the hotel and the beach, I think it would be easy to kill a week without going to aquapolis
 Thanks everyone0
