Duty free, Heathrow T3, Courvoisier

Hi
I'm flying out of T3 to India and someone has asked if I can bring them a bottle of Courvoisier. 70cl or 100cl.
Does anyone know if it's stocked, if so, how much and if I'd be better off getting it before or after security?
Sorry to be a PITA. I've trawled websites for hours and can't find the information anywhere.
I suspect I may be better off getting it at the Majestic up the road (£20 - 70cl).
Thanks in advance.
Lester

You certainly can buy brandy at T3, for the standard (VSOP) the saving post security will be ok, I'd guess around £15. Where the big savings come is when you start looking at the higher versions. Previously you've been able to get the XO for around £40 where at about £80 on the high street0

You can buy duty free on arrival in India, so you may get it there. Watch the sizes, 70cl v Litres when comparing prices. In Delhi Hennessy litres are around US$45.0

just thinking, if you buy it before security, it has to go with your checked luggage, whereas if you buy it after it can go with hand luggage, which is less likely to break.
It should be stocked in dutyfree, but no guarantee.0 -
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Hadn't thought of calling them - will try that.
I have a transit at Doha so a concern is getting it taken away whilst there.
Thanks for all the responses. Shouldn't be this difficult.
Options:
Majestic
Before security at T3
After security at T3
During Doha transit (will there be security?)
On arrival in Delhi
Thanks

Try these
Personally I wouldn't buy in Heathrow if you're transitting - you've a significant risk of confiscation.
LHR T3 - http://www.worlddutyfree.com/
Doha - https://www.qatardutyfree.com.qa/
Delhi - http://www.delhidutyfree.co.in/
Also worth looking at the duty free section of the airline you're flying - assuming it's Qatar http://www.qatarairways.com/global/en/inflight-duty-free.page0 -
Is the person in the UK or India?
If the UK then there is the duty free in Arrivals at T3 to save it going to india and back0 -
The person I'm visiting is in India.
K3lvc - thanks for all the links!0 -
The arrivals shops at Heathrow are not duty free according to this.. http://www.dutyfreeonarrival.com/en/search/lhr0

No, you will be allowed to take it through Doha security as long as the bottle is in a sealed bag with the receipt showing date of purchase inside. If you don't believe me click:Try these

But remember it must be in a SEALED bag, not a standard duty free plastic bag.0
