Lights on my car?

The right handside break light in my car recently went then today I had a message appear that the main right hand back light has gone and so has the left light.
I obviously need to get this sorted asap but would it just be the bulbs? obvious answer? or could it be that they are connected and when one goes the others go too? Sorry rubbish when it comes to cars!:D Just seems weird they are all going out all at once!

Check the fuse0

Probably just the bulbs, it's probably as simple as undoing a plastic clip and pulling the bulb holder out from inside the boot. My GF was surprised how easy it was when I showed her, she assumed it would be a nightmare task (thanks to TV ads telling everyone they're too stupid to change a bulb).
I wouldn't think it's a fuse, as generally (but not always) there will be one for each side of the car.
Fuses also only blow if there's a problem, like..... The fool I saw this morning with tail lights full of water.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

To try and actually help the OP...
You may have been unlucky and had three bulbs blow in succession. If you don't know how to change them, Halfords will fit bulbs for you - for a cost.
If they blow again, you may need to get it to a garage or autoelectrician to see if there's an issue0 -

In this case looks like the OP is right - each time it's driven the car breaks a light.
OP, bulbs are always the first check when lights fail. If that doesn't cure it the chances are it's time for an electrician - diagnosing what used to be simple faults involving fuses, wire and switches can get complicated on modern cars where ECUs control everything and all the switches do is ask the computer to turn things on & off for you0
