Welcome to the weekend
We all know that the big changes can make an instant difference to our finances, eg cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky or the gym membership.
But once we have done all the bigger stuff it is sometimes hard to realise that we are still doing DFW stuff each and every day! They may be small things but they are so important!
So, be proud of those small steps that you are taking today and let us all know what you are doing to help you become Debt Free :T
So today I will be:
- cutting my lawn (used to pay someone to do it)
- shredding some old paperwork - it is getting in the way
- sticking to the basics at the supermarket from the shopping list I made
- having meal plan dinner - fish pie (yum)
- enjoying the sunshine for free!
- trying to get something else on ebay
Have a good one everyone, and remember the sun cream please x

*Getting in touch with the bank to cancel an old credit card and halfing my overdraft
*Only taking £10 cash when I go out tonight instead of taking my card and spending a small fortune
*Making a shopping list - we're doing it by bus (ooh er) so should be easier to not buy thing we don't need!0 -
I need new make-up. Years ago, I'd have got the expensive brands, but now I get it from my local market. 40p-75p for a lipstick & £1 for a compact face powder can't be bad, so I'll be getting 2 of each later this morning. The lipsticks last just as long as the big name brands, & last even longer if you apply them with a lip brush.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

Good morning everyone. Hope the sun is shining on you all.
Today I will be
- Sending off old mobile phone to Envirofone, earning me £23
- Paying £11 of one pences into my account
- Mowing my own lawn (I used to pay someone to do it)
- Going to the supermarket and sticking to my list
- Drying washing on the line instead of tumbler
Hope you all have a wonderful day0 -
Morning all
Today I will be washing and line drying, taking my own bottle of tap water to the gym instead of buying their pricey water and updating my Ebay spreadsheet (if DH can find the disk with excel package on - he wiped the laptop to speed it up and excel has gone  ). I have done my online banking to keep track of my accounts (I love being in the black - never used to happen til discvering this site and LBM!)

Morning alll. I have a cold (sob...). Today:
- gleefully counting extra pounds saved after finding good deals at Holland and Barrett and Julian Graves while restocking: 3 for 2 and half price respectively, hurray.
- online transfer to savings account.
- am supposed to be cleaning, but will probably only do a little bit as I feel lousy, so instead may potter about on the matched betting threads taking notes (i.e. cut and pasting, god bless my computer).2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Today I aim to:
spend time tidying my room, hopefully finding things to eBay.
Bagging up lose change to bank sometime this week.
Putting £30 I received from a church friend and my Mom far away from me (Also, ready to bank!)
Parcelling the last of the eBay items I have sold.

* am doing the washing on a 30 degree wash
* will hang this outside when done
* will get bus into town using the bus pass
* will only buy the items on my shopping list
* have written a list of jobs that need doing round the place so will get on with those when I get back from town
* will have a freezer tea
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
