:Thi Im 18 nearly 19 my partner is 23 . we have a one year old baby and i will hopefully start my apprenticeship soon which is 12hours a day five days a week and i get £90 a week... we already claim jsa and housing benefit and we was wondering are we entilted to anythink else becoz as a family we can not live of that with bills nappies etc and it is hard enough as it is

Try inputting your income into the 5 minute benefit checker on this site and find out. Under the family income tab top right then far left.0

Do you not get child tax credit and child benefit? if you do not, then apply immediately for these. Unfortunately, an apprenticeship is low paid, and as you are working full time, and are both under 25, you cannot claim working tax credit.
try the Turn2Us benefit checker for HB or CT, or anything else you may get.0 -
You will qualify if you work at least 24hours and your apprenticeship wage is taxable. If it is just a training allowance then no unless it is taxable. Best give them a ring to clarify your situation.0
