Will they both give up their jobs to do the business. It might be better for one to do the business full time and the other to keep working (full or part time-most childrens parties will be after school and weekends so surely the working partner could help after work and at weekends).
Once things start to take off the working partner could reassess?
Great idea. Except neither is currently working.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
It makes no sense that both of you would need to work 30 hours each to run this business, especially to start it off. Do you already have the animals, or are you going to acquire animals specifically for the party? If the firt, then surely you can't claim that looking after them as you are now is part of the business. If you are acquiring them for a party, then do you have the current funds for it?
Just to say though that the best party my children had was an animal party. They absolutely loved it, as did the other kids and the parents (who got to participate in some of the games). It was a big winner all way round. Much cheaper though, I think I paid about £50 (+ room hire).0 -

Ah ok, I assumed when they said they were going self employed it was from employment, my error.
