    Poor advice. No point ever risking the consequences of a fraudulent insurance claim!

    And there are more issues to cover than ownership- eg. Type of contents, security etc.

    Come on, stop being so dramatic, I have enough furniture in my shed to furnish a house and if anything happens to it then I will make a caim. Aside from personal paper/photos/documents etc how would anyone prove that the items didn't belong to the OP?

    Suggest she speaks to her existing insurers to see if they can assist.

    PJ - never a good idea to suggest somebody commits fraud - this site is for helping people find solutions to insurance problems, not helping them get a criminal conviction!

    You mean the same things insurers will ask for in the event of a claim?
