Should I get 1 or 2 cats...

I'm having a bit of a dilemma at the mo and dunno what to do.

I love cats. Always had them, and really miss my 2 Birman girls :(

I've now got the chance to have a mummy cat and one of her kittens. I'd LOVE both, but I just don't know if it would work. There's 2 girls and Dave (<---Pic to the left) that could potentially make this a problem. Them all stepping on the little mite or something (worse case scenario).

I know the mummy cat would be alright, so I'm going to get her, but dunno about one of her bubs. What would you do?

I'm not the best person to answer this but I am not a fan of having one cat. They need to have a friend of their own kind to play with and it is ace seeing them play together and get on. My three do have the odd falling out but, other than that, they love each other dearly and are very close.

Dave will be under the mummy cats paw anyway so one more won't make much of a difference!

    Get the two of them!
  • go for the two and introduce slowly to the dog.

naaa, I was thinking of just locking them in a room together and let them sort themselves out ;):D

But yeah, looks like everyone thinks I should get both :D

And you'll all be happy to hear they're both from the cats protection :)

Give the cats somewhere to escape from the children.

And the dog somewhere to escape from the cats.
