Agent wants £300 to renew my FT contract!

Me too! DH have to be brave tomorrow. The last time round the agent was very aggressive and yes, did bullied us into signing the contract. But with more information, I feel much braver now.0

in effect, your husband doesn't have to do or say anything - the SPT is currently in effect and will continue to be so.
To avoid bullying/confrontation and to get the facts across clearly, you could just send them a letter.0 -
I wouldnt given them anything like £300. That is a common figure for the pretend background check they make you pay for when moving in, but for a renewal, the usual fee for that "service" is about £50.0
